Candidates who scored 180 and above in the last Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination, UTME, conducted by the Joint Admission and
Matriculation Board, can now secure admission into their universities
of choice.
Chairman of the Policy Committee on admissions to tertiary
institutions and Supervising Minister of Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike,
who disclosed this today said the committee has also pegged the
cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics and colleges of education
for the 2014/2015 session at 150.
The Minister charged the respective institutions to abide by admission guidelines into the nation’s tertiary schools.
