32 PRISONERS GAIN FREEDOM IN ABIA

The new Chief Judge of Abia state, Justice Nnenna Otti, has set free 13 prisoners being held at the Umuahia federal prisons; bringing to 32 the number of prisoners who have regained their freedom in less than one month.


Justice Otti, who has been going round the federal prisons in Abia to throw open the door for inmates whose continued detention was no longer necessary, had earlier freed eight inmates of Umuahia prison to mark 2014 Democracy Day celebration and 13 others at Aba prison.
